I'm Anson Jablinski, and I was born and raised in Houston, TX. My dad showed me GORILLA.BAS one day and I was hooked.

QBASIC kept me busy until seventh grade, when I picked up a TI-83+ and a double bass. My first apps were written in TI-BASIC and published to ticalc.org. The first double bass solo that I learned was The Elephant. In my senior year of high school, I studied Java in my first computer science class.

It was a long while until my second computer science class, as I next attended Baylor University in Waco, TX and studied Music Theory. I had a blast in the Baylor Symphony Orchestra and Jazz Ensemble, and even started learning piano along the way.

I returned to Houston and soon began studying Computer Science at the University of Houston. After creating my first iPad app during the 2014 Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship, I graduated in May 2015.

I'm currently a Senior iOS Developer at ForeFlight, where I am honored to be part of the team working on their flagship product, ForeFlight Mobile EFB.
